Roof -Pro Ltd were brought into this project by a building services consultant who wanted to manage the weight loading on the services installation.  During early design stage Roof-Pro conducted a number of engineering assessments determining the static load pressures and Kn/m2 point loadings for the range of heavy building services equipment which included several 1.5 ton AHU’s.

After consultation of the intended services layout, Roof-Pro designed the most effective support solution. Pod's were fabricated for the AHU's and services positioned directly onto rigid insulation where flagstones have been removed, something only made possible because of the very low compressive loads through each foot.

Roof-Pro technical sales managers and technical office went on to work with the D&B design team and main contractors on other projects where they assisted with on-site technical design support, CAD production drawings and site surveys to determine appropriate product specifications to support - AHU’s, condensers, pipes, cables & ducts and bespoke freestanding access platforms and step-over assemblies.
